relovision-jpeg.jpg A guy shopping in a supermarket noticed a little old lady following him around. If he stopped, she stopped. Furthermore she kept staring at him. She finally overtook him at the checkout, turned to him and said, "I hope I haven't made you feel ill at ease; it's just that you look so much like my late son." He answered, "That's okay." "I know it's silly, but if you'd call out "Good bye, Mum" as I leave the store, it would make me feel so happy." She then went through the checkout .. and as she was on her way out of the store, the man called out, "Goodbye, Mother." The little old lady waved and smiled back at him and said “Thank you”. Pleased that he had brought a little sunshine into someone's day, he went to pay for his groceries. "That comes to R1121.85," said the checkout girl. "It can't be that much ! I only bought 5 items." The checkout girl replied "Yes, but your Mother said you'd pay for her things, too.".

have an attitude like a lion, keep the roar.

relovision-jpeg.jpg As we go through the hustles of life, we need to equip ourselves with what I call The Lion’s Attitude. A lion is one animal that knows all glory and no fear. In a jungle there are animals that the lion cannot feast on, no matter how hard it may roar. But that does not deter the lion from making the attempt at trying to feast on whatever passes on its path. A lion knows all too well that it has almost zero chances that it could feast on an elephant. But upon seeing an elephant it will roar, take its clause out and charge at the elephant. It is only when the elephant violently moves its giant body that the lion will concede that maybe it was trying to bite more than it can chew. We need such an attitude in life- that of trying even when the odds seem way too against us. When reality would tell us one thing it is our attitude that ought to tell us the other. So many of us go around carrying dreams so huge that they seem delusional. Our ambitions go beyond what the ordinary people have. We have dreams so big they make one dizzy just thinking about them. Such is the nature of young dreamers that some of us are. But sometimes even our own dreams seem “too big” even for ourselves. We sometimes get intimidated by our own aspirations. Like the giant elephant our dreams and showing us their big backside that it seems there is no viable space for us to sink our teeth in. But does that mean we have to spare our efforts? Does that mean we have to suspend our energies and watch as the giant dreams go by? No! We too, like lion itself, we roar, we take out our clause, we charge at our dreams! We try, try and try! Better are those that are those whose faces are covered in dust after falling from riding on some high spirit in an attempt to reach for their dreams than those who remain clean because they dared not do anything! Let us not be fazed by the giants of dreams and by the wilderness of possibilities. We owe it to ourselves to exploit the will to make that effort at trying to reach those peaks of life, no matter how intimidating the stuff of life may be. Never Stop Trying..Ever. Happy Friday. Stay Blessed#

Advertisers are the interpreters of our dreams - Joseph interpreting for Pharaoh. Like the movies, they infect the routine futility of our days with purposeful adventure. Their weapons are our weakness: fear, ambition, illness, pride, selfishness, desire, ignorance. And these weapons must be kept as bright as a word.
